If you are going to use this dressing as a Marinade
Back in the late 80’s I was visiting my bud Billy whose family owned Maus & Hoffman Men’s Clothing in Bal Harbour on Miami Beach. I dropped into Neiman Marcus for an espresso and discovered Balsamic Vinegar at their Epicurean Shop for the first time. It was good for all sorts of things besides salads and used this recipe to marinade chicken and steaks. One thing I would do is add another garlic clove to the mixture. Other than that this recipe is pretty spot on for the marinade.
